What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
General Pest Control covers the inspection and treatment tasks described in your estimate or service agreement. Depending on the agreed scope, work may address common household pests and include monitoring, application, or practical steps to reduce pest activity.
We will explain the planned work and any preparation needed before service. Exclusions may include pests, areas, repairs, sanitation, exclusion work, or follow-up visits not listed in the agreement; specialized or expanded work requires separate approval.
Pesticide use must follow product labeling under federal FIFRA requirements and applicable Ohio Revised Code Chapter 921 and Ohio Administrative Code 901:5-11 rules. Applicators must hold any required Ohio Department of Agriculture commercial license.
We provide applicable chemical labels and safety data sheets (SDS) consistent with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. Follow label directions and technician instructions, including any re-entry guidance.
Disposal of pesticide containers must follow applicable Ohio EPA and Ohio Department of Agriculture guidance. Local requirements, including those of the Cuyahoga County Board of Health when relevant, may also apply.
Appointment Changes and Visit Planning
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another agreed method. We will confirm the service date or arrival window and share any preparation instructions we know are needed. Please provide safe access to the areas included in the work and tell us about conditions that could affect the visit, such as pets, locked rooms, or recent pesticide use.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible using the details in these terms or your appointment confirmation. Any cancellation charge or notice requirement applies only if it was disclosed and agreed to before booking.
If no such term was provided, contact us to discuss the change. We may need to reschedule if access, weather, safety, or other conditions prevent the agreed work.
We will explain material scope changes before proceeding and ask for your approval; added work is not authorized merely because a technician identifies it during a visit.
Written Quotes, Approvals, and Charges
An estimate describes the work and price proposed for the conditions and service scope discussed at the time. It is not a guarantee that hidden conditions will not be found or that additional work will never be needed.
Review the estimate and ask questions before accepting. The agreed price and payment timing will be stated in the estimate, service agreement, invoice, or other written confirmation.
Payment is due according to the terms provided there; no price or payment plan is created by these terms alone.
If an inspection or service reveals a need to change the work, we will explain the change and any added charge before doing it. You may approve or decline the proposed addition.
We will not treat silence as approval. Work outside the accepted scope may require a separate estimate or agreement.
Please contact us promptly if an invoice appears inconsistent with the work or agreed price so we can review it. Taxes, if applicable, will be shown as required.
What to Know About Service Follow-Up
Ohio Pest Solutions does not promise a particular pest-free result or a fixed warranty period through these general terms. Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only when its terms are provided in writing for the specific service.
That writing should identify what is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request follow-up. If your estimate or agreement does not state a warranty, contact us before booking to ask whether one is available for the proposed work.
Coverage may depend on following preparation and safety instructions, providing access, and keeping the treated conditions within the agreed scope. A written warranty may exclude new pest entry, untreated areas, structural or moisture problems, sanitation issues, or other conditions beyond the service performed.
We will explain any stated exclusions in the applicable document. Nothing in this section changes rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Do not rely on a verbal statement to expand written warranty terms; ask us to put any agreed change in writing.
Daniel Mercer
Service Expert at Ohio Pest Solutions
I started in pest control in the Cleveland area, where older homes, shared walls, and seasonal shifts can make pest problems persistent. I built this company to give Ohio homeowners clear inspections and treatment plans suited to local conditions, from humid summer mosquito pressure to rodents seeking shelter during cold weather.
Responsibility and Limits on Claims
To the extent allowed by law, Ohio Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, or to liability that cannot legally be limited. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or conditions, concealed defects, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or outcomes caused by circumstances beyond the work performed, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
We will perform pesticide work in accordance with applicable requirements, including Ohio Revised Code Chapter 921, Ohio Administrative Code 901:5-11, required Ohio Department of Agriculture licensing, and FIFRA product-label directions. Chemical labels and safety data sheets are handled under applicable OSHA Hazard Communication requirements.
These terms do not excuse a failure to meet legal duties. Questions about pesticide-container handling should be directed to applicable Ohio EPA or Ohio Department of Agriculture guidance. Any liability limit is subject to controlling law.
Questions About These Terms
For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Ohio Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@ohiopestsolutions.top. Written correspondence may be sent to Key Tower, 127 Public Square, Cleveland, OH.
Please include your name, service address, and any estimate or invoice reference so we can identify the matter. Do not use email for urgent safety emergencies; follow product-label directions and contact emergency services or the appropriate authority when needed.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version provided or made available when you accept a service will govern that service unless a later change is agreed to or required by law.
We will communicate material updates by posting revised terms on our website or providing them with service communications. The effective date of an update will be shown with the revised terms when available.
If a change affects a pending appointment or agreement, contact us to discuss its application before additional work proceeds.
